Celebrate Beaujolais Day at Cupitt’s Estate!

Embrace the French tradition of Beaujolais Day with us. This day marks the annual release of Beaujolais Nouveau, a vibrant, fruit-forward wine crafted from Gamay grapes in the Beaujolais region. Since the 1950s, this celebration has been a beloved event across France, with locals racing to bring the first bottles to Paris!

While we can’t float barrels across the ocean to Ulladulla, we’re bringing the joy of Beaujolais to Cupitt’s Estate with a special pre-release of our 2024 Gamay harvest. This fresh, youthful, and juicy wine is the perfect toast to the season, made using traditional carbonic maceration.

Join us on Thursday, 21 November, for a taste of France at our estate. Your ticket includes a selection of French Gamays from Beaujolais alongside our own Cupitt wines. Graze on French-inspired bites, enjoy lawn games like pétanque, and soak in the festive ambience with French music. Plus, a wine expert will share the rich story of Beaujolais, making it a night to remember.
