Can I do a Wine Tasting during my booking? 

We recommend placing a separate booking forwine tastingsto enjoy before or after your lunch reservation. Tastings appointments and experiences are available from 11am-4pm daily; bookings are recommended. Alternatively, you can order a self-guided wine tasting flight at your table.

What do I do if I am running late for my reservation?

Please let us know if you are running late, as your table may be booked for another reservation after your seating. Please call us on 4455 7888 to advise delay; otherwise, we will hold the table for 15 minutes.

What is the dress code for Cupitt's Estate Restaurant?

The dress code in each of our restaurants is smart casual. However, some guests choose to dress more formally, depending on the occasion and formality of the specific restaurant.

What is the dress code for casual dining areas? 

The dress code in our casual dining area is relaxed. Generally speaking, footwear must be worn at all times. Please note that all guest entry in our venues is subject to the discretion of our management. 

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that any cancellation of your reservation be made as soon as possible, no less than 24 hours prior. For no-shows or late cancellations, you will be subject to a fee of $25 per person that will be applied to the credit card on file.

How do I cancel or modify a reservation?

If you want to change or cancel your reservation, you can do this via the booking confirmation email or SMS link. Otherwise, please contact our reservations office at (02) 4455 7888 or info@cupitt.com.au. We hope that you will be able to join us on another occasion soon.

Can you bring your dog to Cupitt's Estate?

Dogs that are socialised are welcome to Cupitt's Estate. However, we ask that you keep your dog on a lead. We also ask you to clean up after your dog. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant for health and hygiene regulations or on the deck or cellar door. Please select a table in the Garden if you are bringing your pooch. 

Can I dine on the casual menu inside the restaurant?

The restaurant has a three-course minimum menu for all adult diners on Long Weekends, Public Holidays and Peak Holiday Periods. You cannot dine on the casual bar menu in the restaurant. To view our sample menushere.

What does weather-dependent mean?

It means that your booking may not be possible if the weather does not permit it. Extreme weather conditions include wind, rain and heat. 

I have an outdoor booking will it be protected by the sun?

We do our best to provide shade to most tables. The sun does move throughout the day, so often, parts of the table are not shaded. In high wind, the umbrellas cannot be raised. We highly recommend bringing sun protection. Sunscreen is available, and we do sell hats from the Cellar Door.  

What is your group dining policy?

Does your venue offer BYO? 

No, we do not. However, we are fully licensed.

Do I have to make a reservation to get a table?

Cupitt's Estate does take ‘Walk-Ins’ in the restaurant, bar and Cellar Door. However, we cannot guarantee availability and strongly advise making a booking, particularly on weekends when it is popular.

Do you have parking? 

Yes, we do have parking. 

Do you have a courtesy bus or offer any transportation?

No, sorry, we do not offer any transportation services.

Can we get a taxi easily? 

Yes, Milton Ulladulla Taxis can be contacted on 4455 1862. They are now taking bookings online. Uber is also available and Shoalhaven Passenger Service 0423 748 988 andPlan Bon 0433 550 780 or 0405 319 238

Do you charge entry prices for the live music in the Garden? 

We host live music in the Garden every Sunday of the year from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. On most Sundays, there is no entry fee. Entry fees are charged when we have ticketed events. Ticket information can be found on our website's What’s On Page approximately 2 months before the event date.

Can I be guaranteed a specific table in a restaurant?

We cannot guarantee specific tables; however, we can make a special request, and the team will do their best to accommodate on the day.

Can I drink my purchases from the cellar door on-site?

No. Wine and beer from the Cellar door are for takeaway only. Please purchase all food and drink from the bar to be consumed on-site. 

Is there a fee to do a Wine Tasting?

There is no cost to taste at Cellar Door for Wine Club Members and their guests. There is a $15 per person fee for wine tasting appointments. Guests have the choice to either pay the tasting fee or purchase two bottles of wine each. 

Do you charge extra on weekends?

Please note that a 10% surcharge is added to Weekend bills.

Do you charge extra on public holidays?

Please note that a 15% surcharge is added to public holiday bills.

Do you charge fees to use credit cards?

There is a credit card surcharge of 1.5%, debit card surcharge of 0.8%

What should I do if I have a severe and dangerous allergy?

Every effort will be made to accommodate you and your guests; some allergies are difficult for us to cater for, given the nature of the food we serve. While we endeavour to cater for your specific dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee 100% against cross-contamination in the kitchen. So if your allergy is very dangerous, we recommend not taking the risk. All guests with an allergy are reminded to bring their epi-pen as an additional precaution, and please advise us at the time of booking.

Can I BYO a cake to your venue?

We hire a full team of dedicated chefs, including a pastry chef, to create some of the best desserts in the region. We want you and your guests to experience our desserts as it is part of the Cupitt Estate experience. We offer complimentary celebration decorating on request (“Happy Birthday Message”). If you bring something for the celebration but order desserts, there is no charge. If you replace our desserts with outside food, we still need to ensure it is cut and served at the restaurant's standards, which requires labour; we charge a $3.50 per person cakeage fee. If you wish to bring a cake, there is no charge if you are also ordering dessert.

A cake for celebration purposes can be made. It can be served in addition to the dessert course or taken home. The Cost is $50 for our signature chocolate cake with a Happy Birthday message. We request 48 hours of advance notice for cakes. However, we may be able to accommodate with less notice, so please enquire. Prepayment is required for cake orders. 

Alternatively, a “Happy Birthday” message can be included on a dessert plate in the restaurant on the chosen dessert. This needs to be arranged the day prior. Please note that this is not suitable for all dishes (i.e. Cheeseboards). 

A celebration cake can be brought to the casual dining area with prior approval. We will charge a cakeage fee of $3.50 per person. A celebration cake can also be ordered with our restaurant team in advance. Celebration cakes can be ordered for Garden bookings.

Is Cupitt's Estate open on Christmas Day and Boxing Day?

Cupitt's Estate is closed every Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Do any of your venues offer takeaway?

We do have deli supplies from the Cellar Door. Takeaway pizza orders may be possible at certain times. Please enquire at the venue. The Cellar Door shop has takeaway beer and wine. 

Do you cater for vegans and vegetarians?

We always ensure that vegan and vegetarian meals are available on the restaurant menu. We use aquafaba in our cocktails instead of egg white, and the majority of the wines are vegan-friendly. 

What are your private dining options?

Who can I speak to about alleged food poisoning?

How can I get information about holding my wedding at Cupitt's Estate?

Do you offer corporate event packages onsite?

Cupitt's Estate offers packages from 1-2 Day conferences, staff retreats, and team celebrations. Please enquireherefor a specialised quote

Do you have a service fee?

Tips are discretionary and are shared among the service team and chefs evenly.

Do you operate two sittings?

Lunch bookings between 11.30am- 2.30pm and dinner bookings from 5.45pm - 6.30pm are for 2 hours. If you would like to stay longer, we will do our best to accommodate you, but this is not guaranteed. 

I have been overcharged; how can I get a refund?

Please send us anemailwith your name, contact email, phone number, date and time of your transaction, and any other details – including payment method or a copy of the receipt – which may assist us in locating the purchase. Our team will then investigate for you and aim to respond within 72 hours.

How do I cancel my third-party promoter ticket?

Please note that these are third-party issuers, so ticket holders should refer to the terms and conditions listed on their ticket or through the relevant third-party website.

How do I join theVIP Wine Club?

There is no fee to join the VIP Wine Club. To become a member, purchase six bottles in one transaction and subscribe to an ongoing wine delivery every four months. As a valued member, you'll enjoy a 20% discount on all wine purchases throughout the year and a 10% discount when dining at our restaurant.

When you join, you can choose your preferred selection of mixed, white, or red, or create a custom selection. You'll have the flexibility to make changes to your choice with a month's notice.

Can I visit the Winery/Brewery facility? 

Make a booking for Cupitt's Tour and Taste.This immersive and fun-filled experience is available on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Please arrive at 10:45am for an 11am start. The price per person is just $60.00, perfect for intimate groups of up to 12 individuals.

Can I buy wholesale wine?

Cellar Door is for retail sales only. Any wholesale or business enquiries should be directed to our Sales Manager viaemail

ACCOMMODATION FAQs

When can I check into my accommodation?

Our check-in time is between 3.00-5.00pm. Please let us know by 12.00pm the morning of your arrival if you plan to arrive after 5.00pm, so that we may make late check in arrangements for you.

Check out time is 10.00am.

Upon arrival, please check-in at the Reception Cottage, approximately 100 meters from the front gate on your left. Our Reception Cottage is open 9.00am - 5.00pm every day.

Any requests for check in and check outs outside these times are subject to availability.

Can I cancel my reservation?

To secure your reservation, we take a 50% deposit upon booking. The remaining balance will be charged 24 hours prior to check-in. 

If you cancel / modify your reservation outside of 14 days, you will receive a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. Any cancellations within the 14 days forfeit the deposit amount. Cancellations within 48 hours and No-shows forfeit the total room amount.

Is there parking available?

There are designated parking spaces per Villa. These are located directly in front of the Villas. Upon arrival, you are welcome to park the car in front of the cottage where you will find reception. Our friendly staff will then inform you of the Villa number that has been assigned to you and direct you where to park.

Is there Wifi available?

All Villas have Wifi access provided complimentary. Login details can be found in the Villa Compendium.

Are there safes in the Villas?

All Villas are equipped with safes to store guest items.

When do I pay for the minibar items? 

The Villas include a well-stocked mini-bar with a selection of our boutique wines, craft beers, and cocktails. Any minibar purchases will be charged upon check-out to the credit card provided. 

A fee of $10 will also be charged for lost access cards.

Are there any stairs in the Villa?

There are no stairs in our Villas. The entire estate is wheelchair accessible and stair-free. We have one wheelchair accessible Villa.

Are children allowed to stay in the Villas?

The Villa is able to accommodate 2 adults in the main bedroom and a sofa bed can be arranged upon request, suitable for 2 small children under 12 years of age. 

Can I smoke in my Villa?

This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Please dispose of all cigarette butts in the provided rubbish bins, not in gardens or on lawns. Smoking or vaping indoors will result in a $200 cleaning fee.

Can I bring my pet?

While service animals are permitted, no other pets are allowed in Villa accommodation. Cupitt's Farmhouse is our pet friendly accommodation option for more details please visit our websitehere.

Can I entertain guests in my Villa?

No additional guests or visitors are allowed without prior consent from Cupitt's Estate Management. Parties are not permitted at the accommodation. Evidence of a party will result in termination of accommodation without refund. Please respect other guests and neighbours. Noise restrictions are in place from 10pm - 8am. Please avoid walking through gardens or on the grass in front of Villa balconies, as some Villas have private outdoor baths. Please respect the privacy of other guests.

The maximum number of guests allowed to stay in the accommodation is as per your booking and must not exceed 4 persons. Any additional guests will violate the Terms and Conditions of your Tenancy.
