At Cupitt's we have been growing organic strawberries all summer so they are featured heavily on our Drinks Menu as you can't beat the freshness of home-grown strawberries. Strawberries and champagne are synonymous with Valentine's Day so we found the perfect cocktail fo you to whip up at home alternatively you can join us at Cupitt's on Valentine's day and we will make it for you.

Los Amores is a vibrant mix of fresh strawberries, tequila, Chambord (orcrème de cassis)and dry sparkling wine.

Recipe

Two ripe strawberries plus one for garnish

20ml Lime Juice

20ml Sugar Simple Syrup (we used our strawberry-infused syrup but regular Simple syrup works too)

30ml Blanco Tequila

15ml Chambord (crème de cassis orcrème de mure also work)

Dry Sparkling wine (Cupitt Brut Cuvee)

Method

Muddle two ripe strawberries in a cocktail shaker, add lime juice and simple syrup, Chambord, and tequila. Shake with ice, strain into a champagne flute, top off with dry sparkling wine and garnish with a strawberry. This makes one drink, so double up for two and consider having refills ready to go as this is delicious!
